Every five years, three girlfriends and I jet off for a long weekend, usually to a city in Europe, hopefully to a place that none of us have been to before. Last Sunday was declared the hottest day of the year so far (not hard considering it’s only April). I’m sure I wasn’t the only Brit airing their milk bottle legs for the first time in about 6 months. I’m also pretty certain I wasn’t the only one staring at a rather scarlet reflection in the mirror later on that evening. Will we ever learn? Summer is on its way. Here we are again, on the cusp of the weekend and another week down. Since I last wrote on this here blog, I’ve been to the Alps and back. I’ve also experienced snow, sunshine, rain and freezing fog.
