We did very little over the last 48 hours and it w We did very little over the last 48 hours and it was absolutely blissful. Thank you @bethnalandbec for providing the perfect place to unwind.

I read the whole of @theunmumsymum’s debut novel, ‘Stepping Up’, in the first 12 hours. I’m not sure that watching me read was quite the ‘magic’ (see pic 3) that my husband had in mind, but I couldn’t put it down! Great job, Sarah 👏🏻
Took the plunge with the dark green (went for Dulu Took the plunge with the dark green (went for Dulux Everglade in the end because the F&B colour wasn’t in stock and once I’ve decided on something I’m doing it immediately!); I haven’t regretted it so far.

My mum remembers these colours being very ‘in’ during the 70s. I remember them being back ‘in’ in the late 90s. Now here we are again. I just hope the pale grey trend doesn’t come back any time soon, cos I don’t fancy attempting to cover this one up!

What do you think to the dark colours? I know it will be so cosy in the winter, just hoping it’s not too heavy for the summer.

P.S Woodburner incoming very soon, just waiting for our installer to get over covid 🤪

I pretty much stopped blogging last year because a I pretty much stopped blogging last year because a) I couldn’t think of anything interesting/relevant to write and b) my marketing diploma took up every ounce of my free time. Now I’m in a quandary because I miss the therapeutic nature of writing and have no other outlet for it, BUT after almost 12 years of blogging, I think this might be the end for me. Do I just delete it or is this post lockdown melancholy? It’s a dilemma folks!

Are there any of the original blogging crew still out there? What do you write about these days? Are you a reader of blogs? What do you like to read about?

PS Pic is entirely unrelated but it was a murky morning and I just thought this frost was pretty ❄️💫
